After Netflix’s ‘Sacred Games’, Saif Ali Khan is back with another web series.
The Pataudi Nawab is all set to return to the OTT platform with an Amazon Original Series ‘Tandav’.
Saif will next be seen as an ambitious politician in his upcoming web series ‘Tandav’. Created and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, this 9-episode political drama is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 15th January 2021.
After sharing an intriguing first poster yesterday, the makers of ‘Tandav’ released the show’s teaser today. The teaser opens with Saif waving at a sea of supporters, as the voiceover says, “Iss Desh main jo pradhan mantri hain wohi raja hain.”
Set in Delhi, this show will take “viewers inside the closed, chaotic corridors of power and uncover the manipulations, charades as well as the dark secrets of people who will go to any lengths in the pursuit of power.”
Produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas, ‘Tandav’ also stars Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sara Jane Dias, Kritika Kamra, Dino Morea, and Anup Soni, among others.
Ali Abbas Zafar, who makes his digital debut with ‘Tandav’, stated, “Through Tandav, we take audiences into the power-hungry world of politics. As you watch the show, you’ll realize that there is no right or wrong, there is no black or white; a world of power is about the world of greys.”
