Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan released their film Coolie No. 1 on Christmas and fans were more than just disappointed with how the film turned out to be.
Coolie No. 1 has also ranked lower than the Salman Khan starrer Race 3 on IMDb.
The movie also features Javed Jaffery, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever in pivotal roles and is directed by David Dhawan himself, who has remade his own 1995 film starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead.
Govinda fans are very upset with the director and cast for remaking an iconic movie by ripping the best parts into shreds. ‘Race 3’ was ranked 1.9 on IMDb, which was considered one of the poor ratings when the film released back in 2018. However, beating that rank in the lower position is Coolie No. 1 which has been ranked 1.4 on IMDb.
‘Race 3’ released a few months after Salman Khan’s superhit ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The movie, starring Katrina Kaif as the female lead, was ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ franchise. ‘Sultan’ director Ali Abbas Zafar collaborated with Salman for the movie, for the second time after ‘Sultan’.
