Fresh pair alert! Bollywood filmmakers have been experimenting lately with their leads by casting new jodis.
This time, it’s Ishaan Khatter and Netflix’s ‘Bulbbul’ actress Tripti Dimri.
According to the latest PeepingMoon reports, Ishaan Khatter & Tripti Dimri have come together for Karan Johar’s Dharma Production’s upcoming movie. This yet-to-be-titled psychological drama, which is scheduled to release later next year, is all set to go on floors mid-next year.
While the details of Ishaan’s character are kept under wraps, Tripti, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Poster Boys’, will reportedly be seen essaying a complex character.
Anurag Kashyap’s sister Anubhuti Kashyap will direct the movie, which is being written by ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ & ‘Lust Stories’ screen-writer Sumit Saxena.
On the work front, Ishaan has the horror-comedy ‘Phone Bhoot’ and a high-budget war drama titled ‘Pippa’ in his kitty.
Meanwhile, Tripti was last seen in Netflix’s ‘Bulbbul’ produced by Anushka Sharma. Her performance was well-received by both the critics and the audiences.
