It’s that time of the year when TAM Media Research releases the list of top celebrity endorsers on Television.
Guess which B-Town celeb topped the list this year? It’s none other than Akshay Kumar & Kareena Kapoor Khan.
As per PeepingMoon, the ‘Good Newwz’ duo Kareena Kapoor Khan & Akshay Kumar have topped the TAM adex- TV Year Rounder Report 2020 for gaining the most numbers of advertisements among their industry colleagues.
While Akki tops the list of male celebrities, followed by Amitabh Bachchan; Bebo is the leading female, followed by Kiara Advani.
Being one of the busiest actors in Bollywood, Akshay had a 16% share of celebrity ad volumes in the year. Kareena, who is has been shooting back-to-back for brand commercials, had a 10% share of celebrity ad volumes.
Amitabh is also among the busiest Bollywood celebrities with several brand endorsements, which made him to the list of 2020’s top celeb endorsers on TV.
According to the TAM report, the ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’ actress has been amongst the top endorsers of the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) category with multiple brands like Colgate, Ponds, Priyagold, etc.
The report claims that there were over 81,000 hours of celebrity ad volume, with a 23% share of overall TV advertising.
