Digital star Jitendra Kumar became famous with his iconic role as ‘Jeetu Bhaiya’ in TVF’s (The Viral Fever) ‘Kota Factory’.
Jitendra made his Bollywood debut opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ in 2020.
Well, the ‘Panchayat’ actor is supposedly all set to play the lead in a sports-based Netflix original movie. The movie, which will supposedly go on floors next month, has been apparently titled ‘Jadoogar’.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Jitendra will be seen as a football player in ‘Jadoogar’. Guess who has been paired opposite Jitendra? It’s Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (2020) fame Arushi Sharma. Javed Jaffrey will reportedly play the role of a sports coach.
Sameer Saxena, who has earlier directed TVF shows like ‘Permanent Roommates’, ‘TVF Tripling’, and ‘Yeh Meri Family’, is directing this movie. This Netflix movie has been written by his regular distributor Biswapati Sarkar, who was also an integral part of the TVF team.
Last year in August, both Sameer & Biswapati reportedly walked out of TVF and started a new production company, titled ‘Posham Pa Pictures’, along with Amit Golani and Saurabh Khanna.
This Jitendra Kumar starrer movie, which is currently under pre-production, will mark this production house’s debut venture.
