Bollywood heartthrobs Ranbir Kapoor & Shradha Kapoor have teamed up for the first time.
This RK-Shraddha starrer flick is being helmed by ‘Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety’ director Luv Ranjan.
On Saturday, RK & Shraddha headed to Noida to start shooting for this yet-to-be-titled romantic comedy. Do you wanna know who are playing Ranbir’s parents in this film?
As reported by ETimes, it’s none other than Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor.
A source revealed to TOI that the writers of this flick wanted someone like Boney Kapoor, as the character of Ranbir’s dad is someone who is rich and confident.
However, Boney didn’t accept the offer at first. “Boney was their reference point. While the filmmaker had refused the offer, Luv persisted. He asked Arjun Kapoor to convince him and the actor promptly reached out to him, and also got Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi to do the convincing. Eventually, Boney gave in,” the source said.
Boney will reportedly reach the sets of this flick on Monday, January 11. For the unversed, producer Boney Kapoor recently made his acting debut in the Netflix movie ‘AK vs Ak’.
Apart from this one, RK has several projects like ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Shamshera’ lined up for release.
