“I was a victim of cybercrime. My Instagram account was hacked on Sunday,” Ameesha Patel spoke via a video to her Instagram followers.
“Thanks to our honourable home minister @anildeshmukhncp, @mahacyber and @yashasvi.singh.9 .. assisted by sub-inspector Sandip Patilji my Instagram account was restored in record time … thank u again .. and everyone pls be aware of such cyber attacks,” she continued.
4. Farah Khan
Director Farah Khan’s Twitter account was also hacked last December and she had requested everyone to restrain from clicking or replying to any message sent by the account.
On the 4th of January, Farah wrote a thankful tweet where she thanked Karan Johar and Twitter for reinstating her account. She says, “Thank you @cherylanncouto@TwitterIndia for reinstating my Twitter handle after it was hacked and deleted.. n special thanks to @karanjohar@siddharthkadam for facilitating this.. also @MahaCyber1 for being so helpful. Be vigilant people.”
