1. Salman Khan
Salman Khan was in the headlines back in 2018 when a female fan dodged the guards and barged into his building and banged at his main door while claiming, “Salman Khan is my husband.” The woman, as per TOI, is said to be a ‘deranged fan’ even threatened to kill herself with a skewer. However, the situation was brought under control and word quickly reached Salman who was not in his apartment, but in Dubai, shooting for a film.
2. Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar once revealed that a mentally unsound girl from Lucknow believed that she was married to the superstar. She not only managed to get his contact details but even called him and ask, “Aap ghar nahin aaye abhi tak?”
Apparently, the girl had once run away from home thinking she was Akshay Kumar’s wife. Akshay claimed that even his wife Twinkle Khanna stepped in to talk to the girl.
3. Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor once had to file a police complaint against a fan. The actor was hounded by an obsessed fan, who claimed that she was married to him. Apart from claiming to be Shahid’s wife, she would reportedly follow him everywhere, wait outside his building and even reached his apartment on the 13th floor. This behaviour prompted the actor to reach out to the cops for protection and help.
4. Emraan Hashmi
In 2013, Emraan Hashmi has an encounter with a female fan who landed up on his doorstep, claiming to be his wife. With some cops by her side, the woman called the actor ‘Emraan Siddique’ and claimed that they were married and had physical relations for two months.
She even alleged that the actor called her continuously and asked her to come to Mumbai. However, on further questioning, it was reported that the woman was either “faking the incident” or was “delusional.” Despite no proof of their alleged marriage, she demanded that the cops arrest Emraan for “cheating”.
5. Abhishek Bachchan
A very scary fan-incident unfolded on Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s wedding day when a fan threatened to take her life if the nuptials went through. The girl was believed to be mentally unsound and she claimed that she was married to Abhishek and that the actor had even applied sindoor on her forehead. Reports state that the tense situation was brought under control by Amitabh Bachchan and a friend, while Abhishek had no clue of the entire episode.
