Dancer-actress Nora Fatehi seems to be making waves in the industry with her groovy talent.
However, she had a foot-in-mouth moment recently when she appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s chat show ‘What Women Want’.
When Kareena started praising Nora for her stunning dance moves, Nora thanked her and said, “I am hoping that soon, when Taimur gets older, we can think about an engagement or marriage between me and him.”
The statement made Kareena speechless before she brushed it off saying – “Well, he is four. I think there is a long way to go.” Nora laughed and replied, “It’s okay, I will wait.”
But Nora’s light-hearted comment kicked up an internet storm and netizens started trolling her. In conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Nora clarified what she meant in good humour.
“This is hilarious. In my culture, when a baby is that cute, we do make a joke about it. I was trying to do the same since he is so, so cute but things were blown out of proportion.”
She also read out some YouTube comments on her music video Chorr Denge which said stuff like, “Taimur is going to be in depression after watching the music video.”
Nora Fatehi joked, “Now that I am Taimur’s wife-to-be, I want to tell him that please take notes from ‘Chhor Denge’ and behave!”
