After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan Akhtar is again all set to play the role of an athlete!
Titled ‘Toofaan‘, the upcoming sports drama will feature Farhan as a national level boxer.
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the sports film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak and Hussain Dalal. Mehra had directed Farhan in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag as well.
Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani from Excel Entertainment, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (ROMP Pictures) and Farhan Akhtar, Toofaan will be having a direct-to-OTT release instead of hitting the theatres.
Along with a new poster, the makers also revealed the release date – it will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on May 21, 2021!
The movie teaser will be dropping shortly on 12th March. Excited to see Farhan back in action? He was last seen in the 2019 film, The Sky Is Pink, opposite Priyanka Chopra.
