Talking about working alongside Manoj Bajpai, Prachi says, “He puts in 100% effort in all that he is doing, whether it’s just a small scene or a reaction. But what I did see is that he takes his 5 minutes, sometimes 2 or 10 minutes off especially if it is a big scene that’s very important or if it’s a long scene to be performed. He doesn’t lean into it for a whole day, but he does take those few minutes off to come back into the zone. I really want to understand how he really gets into that zone because, after that, he leaves everybody on set dumbstruck. You’re just blown by whatever performance he just put up.”

Prachi also shares her thoughts on OTT and women selecting power-packed roles, I think it is pretty brave of OTT right now because I think you have so many women picking up roles that have a voice and an opinion and are also just portraying a lot of strength. That is how women are in real life so I think OTT is giving women a fair chance to bring out their real side as well.”

Desai then spoke about her role as a lady cop! This role (lady cop) was very urban, it was a very young cop and a girl of today. It was different. I didn’t have to be screaming at the top of my voice neither did I have to beat down people with my stick. It was a mind game and it was a lot of fun. You don’t have to play a cop just the way news channels intend to show you. You can be a cop and have your own personality. “

“I love thrillers, I love espionage thrillers, mysteries, and I’ve always wanted to be a detective or a criminal on the run.”
