The national crush Kartik Aaryan is one of the bankable stars right now.
From Dostana 2 to Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi remake– he has several projects lined up in his kitty.
Earlier, Pinkvilla reported that Kartik is reportedly in talks with the Gunjan Saxena director Sharan Sharma for a sports film. The Love Aaj Kal actor has apparently been offered the role of a cricketer.
And now, according to the latest TOI report, Bulbbul fame Tripti Dimri has reportedly been approached to play the female lead in this film. While there is no official confirmation yet, it would be interesting to watch Kartik & Tripti together on big screens.
However, Kartik is supposedly yet to give an official nod to this film. If he signs the dotted line, he will have to go through intense training for the role.
On the work front, Kartik’s next movie Dhamaka will soon be released on Netflix, while Tripti will be seen opposite late Irrfan Khan’s son Babil’s debut movie Qala, which will also be streaming on the same OTT giant.
