Undoubtedly, Bigg Boss is India’s one of the most controversial yet popular reality shows.

In 2015, Dhoom, Hungama actress Rimi Sen surprised everyone as she participated in BB 9.

Though she was often singled out by the host Salman Khan for her lack of interest in the reality show, Rimi now reveals that Bigg Boss was an “eye-opener” for her.

Recently, during a candid chit-chat with SpotboyE, the Phir Hera Pheri actress admitted that she did the show only for money. Do you know she was the highest-paid contestant of BB 9? Curious to know how much was she paid?

Well, the Bigg Boss makers paid her a whopping amount of Rs 2.25 crores for her 49-day-journey. Yes, you heard this right!

She was quoted saying, “See we do few things for fame and some for money. So, I did Bigg Boss only for money. They paid me around 2.25 crore for 49 days and nobody can earn this much money in such a short time. Most of the time people fail to understand the actual concept of Bigg Boss. The show is not about fighting and getting highlighted or giving content. This show is about getting your hidden personality out.”  

She went on to say that every person has a bad side to themselves and also claimed that the show reflects the real side of a person. She alleged that the makers purposely create tasks in a way that a person’s worst side comes out in the public.

On the work front, Rimi Sen was last seen in 2011’s movie Shagird.
