After Kartik Being Dropped from ‘Dostana 2’; HOW MUCH Will The Recast COST Dharma Productions?

Date:

In 2019, Dharma Productions announced Dostana 2 with Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, and debutant Lakshya.

Meanwhile, yesterday, the makers announced to recast the sequel, after Kartik being dropped from the movie.

While both the parties are maintaining utmost silence regarding this decision, media reports suggest that due to Kartik’s unprofessional behaviour, producer KJo & director Collin D’Cunha decided to replace him. Not only that, but Karan has also reportedly vowed to not work with Kartik again.

Do you guys know how much will KJo & Kartik’s alleged fall-out & his replacement cost Dharma Productions?

As per the latest Peeping Moon report, the recasting will reportedly cost the makers a whopping amount of Rs. 20 crores! “Kartik had shot for 20 days of Dostana 2 but now the film has to be restarted from scratch. And it has apparently cost Dharma Rs. 20 crores. But they are ready to let go of the money spent and start anew,” a source revealed.

Well, this is indeed a huge amount keeping the pandemic situation in mind.

KJo unfollows Kartik on Instagram

Now, adding fuel to the fire, KJo has apparently unfollowed the Luka Chuppi actor on Instagram, who is still following the filmmaker.

Reportedly, Kartik & Karan’s alleged fallout has currently become the talk-of-the-town.
