Aamir Khan and Kajol had shared a sizzling chemistry in the romantic thriller film ‘Fanaa’.
Be it the fabulous songs, cinematography or the fireworks between the actors, Fanaa hit all the right spots and was a superhit in 2006!
While we’re still whistling the iconic Chand Sifarish tune, here’s a throwback video where you can see both actors indulging in a candid chat. Kajol had asked Aamir if he was apprehensive about doing Fanaa with her, to which he replied that he was a little bit.
Aamir had told Kajol – “I was apprehensive to be honest. I always respected you as an actress, I’ve liked your work. On a certain level, I was looking forward to this film, hoping it goes well. I was creatively so sure that you are right for the role.”
Aamir then went on to say – “To an outsider, to begin with, as a personality you appear very aggressive, brash and harsh – on the point of being rude. And you ARE all those things. But you’re not those things because you’re trying to misbehave. You’re not throwing an attitude.”
He added cheekily – “This is what I got to learn in time as I began working with you – I realised THAT’s what you are, when you’re naturally badly behaved. I was a little disappointed in your sense of humour of course. (laughs) But I hope it has improved after interacting with me.”
To which Kajol responded sarcastically, “I have to say, I have sharpened my wits on you quite a lot!”
