Amitabh Bachchan- Emraan Hashmi starrer upcoming crime thriller titled Chehre was supposed to release on the big screens on April 9. However, due to the sudden spike in the Covid-19 positive case, the makers decided to postpone the release until further notice. This much-awaited movie also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, and Rhea Chakraborty.
4. Sooryavanshi
After getting delayed for more than a year, Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif starrer much-awaited movie Sooryavanshi, which was finally scheduled to hit the big screens on April 30, got postponed once again due to the second wave.
As India Today reported, confirming the same, the makers released an official statement, which reads, “The Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Uddhav Thackeray, had a discussion with director Rohit Shetty yesterday. In the meeting, Mr. Uddhav Thackeray appreciated Rohit Shetty as he took the brave and difficult decision of postponing Sooryavanshi owing to the current COVID situation in the state.”
