Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are on their 9th year together since their grand wedding.
Every marriage required something to keep the spark alive and for Saifeena, it’s quite steamy indeed.
Kareena Kapoor Khan had invited her husband Saif on her talk show What Women Want and their interaction was as cute as ever. Towards the end of the segment, Kareena asks Saif what he thinks keeps the spark alive in a marriage.
Of course, Saif being the jester he is says, “Role play”. A very stunned Bebo laughs and says, “Actually, we have spoken about every possible topic on the show, so it’s fine.”
Taking the question a little more seriously, Saif then replies with an interesting answer. “If you have slightly different things to do if there is a little bit of freshness when you meet at the end of the day or after a couple of days if you have some new ideas to swap… I think repetition and a mundane kind of existence is a bit worrying for everybody because any long-term relationship can get a bit repetitive.”
Addressing the constant pressure of keeping the spark, Saif mentions, “It’s a really scary thing. Like Woody Allen said, ‘I can’t keep up the same level of charm for 10 years. I’ll have a heart attack.’ It’s okay. Sometimes, you have to find ways to keep your own spark alive.”
The happy couple welcomed their second baby boy earlier this year and while fans await pictures of their newborn son, we feel extremely happy for the couple and congratulate them!
