Sumona Chakravarti is a popular TV personality known for her work in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show.
Sumona recently took to Instagram to make a startling revelation about a health disorder that she’s been struggling with since 2011!
While talking about the lockdown, and how it’s been emotionally hard for her, she said “I may be unemployed and yet am able to feed my family and myself. That is privilege. Sometimes, I feel guilty.
Especially when am feeling low due to pms’in. The mood swings play havoc emotionally.”
She further revealed – “Something I’ve never shared before. I have been battling endometriosis since 2011. Been in stage IV for the past few years now. A good eating habit, exercise and most importantly no stress is key to my well being. The lockdown has been emotionally hard for me.”
(Endometriosis is a health condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the womb. It can cause abdominal and pelvic pain, infertility and ovarian cyst. Symptoms may include pain in lower abdomen, lower back, pelvis, rectum, or vagina, heavy menstrual flow, constipation or nausea)
She concluded her post by saying, “We’re surrounded by loss, pain, grief, stress, hatred. But all you need is LOVE, COMPASSION AND KINDNESS. Then we’ll sail through this storm as well.”
