Vivek Oberoi recently partnered and co-hosted an event with Dr. Vivek Bindra to raise donations and create awareness among people for this second wave of Covid-19.
The initiative is called I Am Oxygen Man. During the event, Dr Bindra was all praise for Vivek for his large-heartedness and generosity.
In conversation, Dr. Bindra revealed some of the most interesting facts about Vivek which many of you may not be aware of.
Dr Bindra said to Vivek, “No words can describe the great work that you’ve been doing yourself. You have sponsored hundreds of free heart surgeries for poor children. You saved more than 2.5 lakh underprivileged kids from Cancer. Your business acumen especially in the world of startups is also praiseworthy. You’re also one of the top 40 philanthropist celebrities around the world who Forbes magazine awarded. You’ve saved over 2200 little girls from child prostitution, of whom over 50 are studying abroad today on scholarships. Also, not many would know that your first salary, the money you earned from your first movie Company, you donated the entire amount for the heart surgery of a young girl.”
Vivek Oberoi has been doing great work for people all over the country, not just now during the pandemic, but for the last two decades consistently. Even during this really tough time of the pandemic, Vivek is trying to do his bit by extending a helping hand with the I Am Oxygen Man initiative, where he has partnered with Dr Vivek Bindra – to build and operate a 200-bed free Covid hospital in Delhi, which has already saved more than a 1000 lives.
