Anurag Kashyap is gearing up for his next film ‘Do Baaraa’ – a quirky sci-fi thriller starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead.
While working on the post-production of the project, Anurag unfortunately had to seek urgent medical attention!
As per Midday, the ace filmmaker had started feeling some mild chest pain which he decided to immediately check out.
“Late last week, Anurag complained of discomfort and decided to get it checked at the earliest. An angiography revealed a few blockages in his heart. He was immediately admitted for surgery,” a source told the daily.
Anurag’s spokesperson confirmed that he underwent the angioplasty surgery at an Andheri Hospital and is currently recuperating. He has been advised a week’s rest.
