Today we all woke up to the shocking news that popular TV actor Pearl V Puri was arrested over alleged rape and molestation charges.
According to reports, the actor was booked under the POCSO Act for allegedly raping a minor girl.
Hours after his arrest, Pearl’s close friend-producer Ekta Kapoor shared some shocking details about the case.
In her Instagram post, she has claimed that the survivor’s mother told her that Pearl was innocent and it’s her husband, who is trying to create stories to keep her child and prove that a working mother on a set cannot take care of her kid.

Now, as per the latest India.com report, Pearl V Puri has reportedly been granted bail on Saturday afternoon. The actor was taken to the court from Vasai police station.
However, some other media reports suggest otherwise. The reports claim that the actor has supposedly been sent to 14-day judicial custody and has NOT been granted bail.
On the other hand, Pearl’s friend actress Karishma Tanna shared a photo on Instagram stating that the actor got bail.
