Looks like Farhan Akhtar’s next is all set for an OTT release after all.
Farhan is playing a national level boxer in the upcoming sports drama ‘Toofaan’.
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the movie features Mrunal Thakur as Farhan’s supportive girlfriend while Paresh Rawal can be seen as his coach. The cast also includes Vijay Raaz, Supriya Pathak Kapur and Hussain Dalal.
The film revolves around how a thug like Ajju Bhai (Farhan) who goes about beating people, turns his life around and becomes the successful boxer Aziz Ali aka Toofaan.
Farhan has also revealed the new release date – Toofaan will have an OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 16th July 2021!
