After Samantha Akkineni’s stellar performance as the main antagonist in ‘The Family Man 2’, it was rumoured that another South star would enter the series.
Recently, reports went viral that Vijay Sethupathi might be cast in the 3rd season of the Manoj Bajpayee-starrer.
It was also reported that Vijay Sethupathi had been offered the role of Lankan militant in 2nd season but he declined it and reportedly suggested Mime Gopi’s name instead.
As per the latest report by film journalist Rahul Raut, turns out the news is nothing more than speculation. Vijay is not doing the 3rd season, which is right now at a nascent stage as it is.
Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in Shahid Kapoor’s OTT debut series though – which is also being made by The Family Man creators, Raj and DK. He has also signed the Hindi film, ‘Mumbaikar’. And he’s teaming up with Katrina Kaif for a Sriram Raghavan film, titled ‘Merry Christmas’.
