From Shahid Kapoor Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan to Ajay Devgn… quite a lot of Bollywood stars will be making their digital debuts soon.
And now, we hear that even Ranveer Singh has jumped on the OTT bandwagon!
If this Peeping Moon report is to be believed, then the Gully Boy actor has cracked a deal with Netflix for a non-fiction show.
The portal further stated that the Netflix project would be an action-packed, adventure reality show.
A Pinkvilla report stated – “It’s a concept by developed by Bear Grylls. After discussing with Netflix on the same, they felt that it’s Ranveer Singh, who fits the bill for this format like hand in glove. Ranveer, Bear and Netflix have been in conversation for a while now and everything has finally fallen in place. It is a hugely budgeted show which will be the biggest drop for Netflix around the world. No one but Ranveer could pull off what Bear has devised for the show. The prep-work has already begun and the makers plan to shoot it this year itself.”
The show will be filmed in Siberia from July-August. The Superstar has reportedly already completed the photoshoot for the same and an official announcement might be made soon.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is awaiting the release of ‘83 and will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ and ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’. He has the ‘Aparichit’ adaptation as well. There have also been reports of Ranveer-Alia reuniting for KJO’s film ‘Prem Kahani’. He’s also rumoured to have been approached for Zoya Akhtar’s gangster drama opposite Katrina Kaif.
