It’s been 18 years since the movie was released, and Shiv aka Athit Naik has now grown up into a handsome man. Just like Jia aka Jhanak Shukla, the other child artist from ‘KHNH’, Athit, too, has strayed away from acting. While Jhanak is an archaeologist now, Athit found his niche behind the camera.
His Instagram bio reveals that he is a director of photography/cinematography and a father of two dogs. Yes, you heard this right! The former actor had graduated from Columbia in 2014 and is now married to Dr. Akshada Kadam Naik.
“I realized that there is enough talent in the field of acting. The world needs more storytellers and people behind the camera. Therefore, I started spending more time with the DOPs. Till now, three of my short films have been to Cannes. I’m a happy man and I don’t regret quitting acting,” Athit said in an interview.
His Insta posts also show that he has worked on a few projects, which include few commercials and digital streaming series such as “Kaale Dhande” and “Sex, Drugs & Theatre”.
He shared a still picture featuring Shah Rukh Khan from ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ and a few behind-the-scenes pictures with producer Karan Johar.
