Yes, not Deepika Padukone but Katrina Kaif was the first choice for Naina’s role in this hit 2015 movie. Reportedly, Katrina rejected this film due to date issues, which later went to DP.
2. Chennai Express
Katrina’s loss has become Deepika’s gain for more than once it seems. According to media reports, the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ actress turned down the offer because of the character’s (Tamilian girl Menamma) accent and tone, which she needed to imbibe.
