However, one can never be too careful it seems. Recently, a shocking case has come to light – of a class 12 student who was aspiring to be an actress.
As per ANI report, the 17-year-old girl from Palashipara, West Bengal was lured to travel to Mumbai by a man posing as an event manager.
He had reeled the girl in by promising her roles in Shah Rukh Khan’s movies! As per TOI report, the man had befriended the teen on Facebook.
Thankfully, prompt action by Government Railway Police helped in nabbing the man and nipping this trafficking incident in the bud. Dnyaneshwar Katkar, SI, Dadar GRP updated that the man has been arrested and is in custody currently.
Lesson learned… Be aware of fraudulent casting calls and do your due research! Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK is gearing up to come back in the action-packed ‘Pathan’ next.
