Disney+Hotstar‘s upcoming series ‘The Empire‘ will see Kunal Kapoor‘s digital debut in a powerful appearance.
Kunal Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of the emperor in this magnum opus and here is his first look.
Apart from Kunal, the cast of this historical fiction has Dino Morea, in the role of the antagonist and Drashti Dhami has been roped in to play his wife Khanzada Begum. The Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass fame Sahher Bambba will play the wife of Kunal Kapoor in the series.
Even actor Aditya Seal who was last seen in Student of the Year 2 has been roped in to play the role of Humayun, son of Babur.
As per reports, while talking about the role, Kunal says, “It’s been challenging but fun! The makers have paid special attention to this character’s look – it is very unique to his personality. Grandeur and royalty aside, this role is fierce and emotionally complex at the same time.”
