Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Gangubai Kathiawadi is the most awaited Bollywood release, starring Alia Bhatt.
The movie was to have an intimate love scene between Alia Bhatt and her on-screen love interest Shantanu Maheshwari, however, the scene is likely to be dropped now.
The reason behind cutting the scene out of the movie is the severe guidelines of social distancing due to the ongoing pandemic.
As per reports, a source says, “I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry in these troubled times. Physical intimacy would definitely be avoided in Bhansali’s shooting. He will find another way of showing a romantic closeness.”
The movie will be released in theatres directly post the pandemic.
