Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh recently hit headlines after his wife Shalini Talwar had allegedly accused him of domestic violence.
Along with him, Shalini had also accused Singh’s family of physical, verbal, mental, and emotional abuse.
Shalini had filed a domestic violence case of domestic violence, sexual violence, mental harassment, and financial fraud against them in Delhi’s Tis Hazari court under the ‘Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act’. She had also demanded compensation worth Rs 10 crores.
Reacting to his wife’s allegations, Honey Singh had earlier issued a statement on Instagram and called the charges ‘false and malicious’.
Now, as per the latest TOI report, Honey Singh appeared before Delhi’s Tis Hazari court today (September 3) in connection to the domestic violence case. Metropolitan magistrate Tania Singh counselled Honey Singh and his wife for over 1.5 hours in her chamber, which has been video recorded, as per India Today.
According to HT, the court ordered that Singh’s parents will have to appear on the next date of hearing– September 28, which will be held online.
As ANI reported, the court has reportedly asked both Shalini and Honey to avoid getting into any unhealthy conversation and to share the income affidavit with each other electronically.
“It is mutually decided between the parties that the petitioner shall visit the matrimonial home with her 2 lawyers and the protection officer on Sunday 5 September with required workforce to handle the belongings. The petitioner shall take all her belongings from the matrimonial house to a place convenient to her. The entire visit shall be videographed,” the court further stated.
