On the other hand, ‘Dangal’ girl Fatima Sana Shaikh was appreciated for her act in her last film ‘Ludo’.
Now, we hear that Vicky Kaushal & Fatima Sana Shaikh might team up for a film. If the latest Pinkvilla report is to be believed, the makers of Vicky’s upcoming film ‘Sam Bahadur’– the biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw– have apparently approached Fatima to play a pivotal role in the movie.
While Fatima is said to have liked the part, she is yet to sign on the dotted line. The movie is said to go on floors next year.
“Fatima has been approached to play a pivotal role in Sam Bahadur, and she has really liked the part. The makers and the actress are presently in advanced talks, and the conversation should be formalised soon. Meanwhile, the pre-production work on the film is on, and is expected to roll early next year,” a source revealed to the portal.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Vicky essays the titular role in the film. In 2019, the movie was announced, along with Vicky’s first-look in the Sam Manekshaw biopic.
Meanwhile, Vicky’s upcoming movie ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ has been put on hold for some time due to budget issues. Reportedly, the estimated budget had touched nearly Rs 300 crores!
