Uh-oh! Looks like the actor has hit the headlines for some rather unsavoury news!
A case has been registered against Rajat in DN Nagar police station for allegedly hitting a man with his car in Andheri. As per TOI report, the 40-year old victim Rajesh Boudh was allegedly drunk when he was knocked down by Rajat.
The actor rushed Rajesh immediately to Cooper Hospital. “After getting him admitted, Rajat returned to the DN Nagar police station and narrated the incident. The injured person is unconscious. A case of a traffic accident will be registered,” said DCP (Zone IX) Sangramsinh Nishandar told TOI.
As per Indian Express report, a police source said that the actor claimed that the victim was drunk and suddenly came in front of the car! “We will check CCTV cameras on the stretch and trace witnesses to try and ascertain the sequence of events,” the police officer further added.
An FIR has been filed against Bedi under IPC sections 279, 338 and 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act for rash and negligent driving causing grievous hurt.
