Well, well, well… The gorgeous & talented Tabu is on a roll right now.
The actress, who already has ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Kuttey’ lined up, has surprised her fans with a new film.
After ‘Maqbool’ and ‘Haider’, Tabu is all set to reunite with director Vishal Bharadwaj for her next. On Thursday (September 16) morning, the actress took to social media and announced her next film- a spy thriller titled ‘Khufiya’.
The movie, which also stars Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles, will be released on Netflix.
Inspired by a true story from the world of intelligence service in India, ‘Khufiya’ is said to be based on Amar Bhushan’s espionage novel- ‘Escape To Nowhere’.
Talking about the film, Vishal Bharadwaj told HT, “It is my first web project and I am very excited about it. Since it is based on a true event which happened in Delhi, around 70% of the film will be shot in the national capital, and the rest in the US.”
Reportedly, the plot revolves around the story of Krishna Mehra– a RAW operative, a mole, and an estranged lover. The movie is scheduled to go on floors by the end of this month and is expected to be released in the second half of 2022.
