The heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is all set to woo his fans with an epic love story.
The movie, which was earlier titled ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’, will be going through a title change to avoid controversy.
Directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Sameer Vidwans, Kiara Advani is supposedly playing the female lead in the movie. Earlier, it was reported that Shraddha Kapoor was first approached for the role.
While the ‘Baaghi’ actress was said to be replaced by Kiara for allegedly quoting a 10-crore fee, fans are curious to know how much Kartik has charged for this film. If this media report is to be believed, Kartik Aaryan is apparently getting paid a hefty paycheck of Rs 15 CRORES! Yes, you heard this right!
“It’s a simple love story, required to be made on a certain budget. Sajid and his team were clear on getting the best of technicians on board the film, with ample emphasis on the music. At first, Kartik quoted an amount in the range of Rs. 18 crores, however, finally settled at Rs. 15 crores basis the request by the producer,” a source revealed to the portal.
For the unversed, Kartik was reportedly paid Rs 21 crores for Ram Madhvani’s ‘Dhamaka’, which will soon be premiered on Netflix.
Apart from ‘Dhamaka’, Kartik has quite a few interesting projects lined up, including- ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddy’, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake.
