With the theatres reopening in Maharashtra from 22nd October, Bollywood is preparing for a grand comeback.
The latest movie to join the fray is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt in the titular role as the mafia queen.
It is inspired by a chapter on Gangubai Kothewali from Hussain Zaidi’s Mafia Queens of Mumbai novel.
Ajay Devgn will be playing a prominent role in the movie as a mobster, who allegedly falls in love with Gangubai while teaching her the tricks of the trade. Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set for a theatrical release on 6th January, 2022!
