TV celeb couple Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal had hit the headlines earlier this year for a domestic violence case.
Things had gotten quite ugly – Nisha had accused Karan of having an extramarital affair while Karan had revealed Nisha was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Karan had refuted her allegations of infidelity as baseless. In fact, in a recent interview, tables have turned in the case – Karan has alleged that it was NISHA who was having an affair.
Karan alleged that Nisha was trying to tarnish his image by framing him. He also elaborated how her brother Rohit Sethia had begged him to forget her affair! He divulged – “Nisha had an affair in 2015 which went on till 2016. After which I forgave and did everything. This Rohit Sethia begged me to forgive him and his sister. He said ‘My sister’s life and reputation will be ruined. She made a mistake’.”
Karan also addressed Nisha’s statement – that she only wanted their son Kavish’s custody, no alimony! Karan said that Nisha is pretending something else on social media and the reality is different.
“She wants lakhs of rupees for Kavish’s upbringing. In the amount she’s asking, one could raise 50 kids. Why should I give you money? I will raise him up by myself,” Karan had commented.
Karan Mehra and his family have gotten anticipatory bail and he says he’s ready to fight against false accusations.
