Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan, who is also an interior designer, turned 51 years old today and we wish her- Happy Birthday!
Today morning, SRK-Gauri’s daughter Suhana posted a throwback picture of them and wished her saying, “Happy birthday ma”.
This year’s birthday isn’t like a happy one for Gauri as her elder son Aryan was arrested by the NCB last week even though NO drugs were discovered from him.
However, today, we stumbled upon a throwback interview of SRK, where he recalled the moment when he’d thought that he would lose Gauri. During an interview in 1998, the actor had revealed that Gauri was pregnant with Aryan at that point and went into labour for the first time.
Talking about it, he said, “I’ve lost my parents in hospitals — so I don’t like being in hospitals. And Gauri is quite fragile — and I’ve never seen her fall really sick, or seen her unwell. When I saw her in the hospital, they had put in tubes and stuff. And she was becoming delirious and she was really cold. I went with her to the operation theatre for her Caesarean… And (takes a deep breath) I thought she’d die. Didn’t even think about the kid at that point in time. It wasn’t important to me.”
“She was shivering so much and I know logically that you don’t die while giving birth to babies… But still… (Lost in thought)… I just got a little scared,” he added.

The couple has been married for almost 3 decades and is proud parents of three children– Aryan, Suhana, and Abram.
