Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan is currently lodged in Arthur Road jail. Mumbai Magistrate court had sent him for 14-day judicial custody.
His bail application was rejected twice previously. Today, his team had moved the Mumbai sessions court for his next bail plea hearing.
Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde had previously argued that no drugs were recovered from Aryan, he wasn’t connected to the organisers or Arbaaz Merchant’s activities.
Maneshinde had made his case that Aryan had no antecedents and was not likely to abscond if granted bail. He had also stated on Aryan’s behalf – “Where is the material to prosecute? No material has been found on me or in my bag. Not a single material to disclose any commit any conspiracy.”
Mumbai sessions Court has agreed to hear Aryan’s bail plea after the Narcotics Control Bureau files its reply. His hearing will take place on Wednesday – October 13, 2021. Aryan will have to remain in the Arthur Road jail for a few more days.
