It has officially been confirmed that a biopic on the celebrated cricketer Sourav Ganguly is in the making.
The BCCI chief himself had updated that Luv Ranjan would be bringing the journey to life onscreen!
As per the previous buzz, it was being rumoured that Ranbir Kapoor was one of the top contenders for the role. However, looks like Luv Ranjan is exploring two other options as well.
A source revealed to Bollywood Hungama – “Luv has just begun talking to a few people casually about it. Two people who he feels would be perfect for the biopic are Vicky Kaushal and Sidharth Malhotra.
He has briefed the idea to both the actors and awaits an approval on the same. His team is currently working on a draft of the script and sketching out which portions of Dada’s life would make it to celluloid.”
The biopic will allegedly go on floors next year. Who do you want to play the titular role in the film – Vicky or Sid? Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Vikram Batra’s biopic Shershaah while Vicky Kaushal will soon be seen in Sardar Udham’s biopic.
