Farhan Akhtar is going to be collaborating with Ashutosh Gowariker next.
This upcoming action movie titled ‘Pukar’ will be produced by Excel Entertainment with screenplay done by Farhan’s father Javed Akhtar.
As per the Peeping Moon report, Pukar will feature Farhan as a forest ranger (officer who patrols and guards forest). The project is allegedly going to tackle the issues of forest preservation.
As for the film’s leading lady – “Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to play the female lead in this film. She will start shooting for it after completing Ronnie Screwvala’s Chhatriwali that goes on floors shortly.” a source told the portal.
Veteran South Indian actor Jagapathi Babu will be playing the villain in Pukar. The film is going to commence shooting from December allegedly, in Mumbai.
