Rajkummar Rao & Bhumi Pednekar are all set to create magic on big screens with their upcoming movie ‘Badhaai Do’.
The family entertainer is a sequel to Ayushmann Khurrana’s 2018 blockbuster film ‘Badhaai Ho’.
Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, the sequel also features Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Shashi Bhushan & more in pivotal roles.
In this film, Rajkummar reportedly plays the role of a policeman named Shardul Thakur, whereas Bhumi essays the character of a PT (Physical Education) teacher, Suman Singh aka Sumi.
Today, the makers – Junglee Pictures – have finally revealed the release date of this highly-anticipated film.
Badhaai Do Release Date:
The movie is scheduled to release in theatres on Republic Day weekend, 2022.
Sharing the post on Instagram, Rajkummar wrote, “Theatre ready… Aap ready… Toh hum bhi ready…Republic Day weekend 2022 ko aa rahe hain hum aapse milne in cinemas to celebrate… So save the date!! And congratulations nahi #BadhaaiDo”.
