Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is one of the most loved Bollywood movies of all time, especially the character of Poo.
Now, the fans would be really excited to know that the actress who played the young Pooja in the movie, Malvika Raaj, is all set to make her Bollywood debut as a lead.
The actress will make her lead acting debut in the Zee5 original film ‘Squad‘.
The movie revolves around the war between the nation’s special forces, with a young girl at its center who has lost everyone she has ever known. The movie is directed by Nilesh Sahay and Zee Studios and Indian Media Entertainment are producing the film.
While sharing the post, Malvika wrote, “Is Baar Ladayi desh ke liye nahi, Desh ki beti ke liye hai. India fights for its greatest pride, SQUAD trailer drop on Monday.”
The film will also mark the acting debut of Rinzing Denzongpa, the son of famous actor Danny Denzongpa. As per reports, Rinzing discussed the difficulties they had while filming Squad, he says, “We’ve seen everything through this film – extreme weather and logistic issues due to restrictions during the pandemic but yet we were more on top. I’m proud to have this as my debut film and it’s been an honor working with Nilesh. I am truly looking forward to the audience experiencing the spectacle that Squad is.”
The film also stars Pooja Batra, Mohan Kapur, and Amit Gaur. It will be released on November 12th.
