Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma & Indian cricketer Virat Kohli welcomed their first baby- daughter Vamika– on January 11, 2021.
One week after India’s loss against Pakistan in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, Virushka’s 9-month-old daughter had received online rape threats.
For the unversed, Virat Kohli had come out in support of his fellow team member & Indian bowler Mohammed Shami, who was attacked and blamed over his religion for India’s defeat against Pakistan.
Kohli had hit back to the “spineless trolls” and said that targeting people for their faith is “the most pathetic thing” to do.

Now, according to India Today, the Mumbai Police has arrested the accused, a 23-yeard-old boy named Ramnagesh Srinivas Akubathini from Hyderabad, and brought him to Mumbai today (November 10).
As the report suggests, he is apparently a software engineer who used to work for a food delivery app earlier.
Earlier this month, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) had reportedly issued a notice to the Delhi Police seeking a response over rape threats that Virat-Anushka’s daughter had received on social media.
