Sushmita Sen made her web debut with the Disney+ Hotstar show ‘Aarya’.
Directed by Ram Madhvani, it is a remake of the Dutch series Penoza. The 1st season received rave reviews from the audience for Sushmita’s stellar act.
Sushmita played the titular role of Aarya, who goes from being a homemaker to a hardened criminal. Seeking to protect her family, she joins a mafia gang in order to get revenge for her husband’s murder.
And now Sushmita has dropped her first look from the Aarya 2 – it appears to be a Holi scene. Aarya can be seen emerging from a cloud of colour, smeared in red and looking fierce. “Sherni is back,” she wrote.

The series will be arriving on the platform soon, though the exact release date hasn’t been revealed yet.
