Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14th June 2020 at the tragically young age of 34.
And now, unfortunately, another disaster has struck the late actor’s family! 5 members of SSR’s extended family were killed in a road accident in Bihar on Tuesday morning.
As per IANS report, the family members were travelling in an SUV when the vehicle was hit by a truck on National Highway number 333 in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. They were returning from the funeral rites of Geeta Devi, the sister of senior Haryana police officer OP Singh (Sushant’s brother-in-law) when the tragic incident took place.
The deceased victims were identified as Laljit Singh (brother-in-law of OP Singh), his two sons Nemani Singh and Ram Chandra Singh, Baby Devi, Anita Devi and the driver Preetam Kumar. The driver of the truck and his helper fled the spot allegedly.
A case has been registered and further investigation is currently underway.
