One of his next films is ‘Bull’ – directed by debutante Aditya Nimbalkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta.
Set in the 1980s, the action extravaganza is inspired by the TRUE STORY of Brigadier Bulsara who led Operation Cactus in the Maldives.
What Was Operation Cactus?
In 1988, a Maldivian group under businessman Abdullah Luthufi was assisted by People’s Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (Sri Lankan Tamil secessionist group) to overthrow the Maldives government.
Indian Armed Forces under Brigadier Bulsara-led Operation Cactus helped Maldivian forces take back control.
Bull Release Date:
As per latest ANI report, Bull will arrive in cinemas on 7 April 2023. It will commence the shooting schedule sometime early in 2022.
