Even Sonakshi Sinha has jumped on OTT bandwagon and will be making her digital debut with the Amazon Prime Series ‘Fallen’.
Sonakshi even had a project coming up with Netflix, but unfortunately looks like the streaming giant has cancelled it!
If this Bollywood Hungama report is to be believed then the film in question is ‘Bulbul Tarang’. The comedy-drama was supposed to star Sonakshi and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead. The plot was allegedly around dowry and its horrific implications.
In fact, Bulbul Tarang was also announced as part of Netflix’s 2021 slate of films. However, now the project is shelved. A source said it might be owing to Sonakshi’s alleged abrupt exit from the film.
“Together with our partners, we made the decision to not move forward with the film. We are grateful to the amazing cast and crew and hope to collaborate with them very soon,” a Netflix spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi is shooting for Double XL with Huma Qureshi and Zaheer Iqbal. She is rumoured to star in Bhansali’s highly-awaited Netflix series Heera Mandi. And lastly, she also has a horror-comedy with Saqib Saleem and Ritiesh Deshmukh – Kakuda.
