Vicky Kaushal & Katrina Kaif’s highly-anticipated wedding is the latest buzz in the tinsel town.
The alleged couple is rumoured to be exchanging vows on December 9, 2021, at the Six Senses Barwara Fort, Rajasthan.
While both the actors are tight-lipped about their D-Day, the wedding preparations are said to be going on in full swing at the 700-year-old fort in Rajasthan.
Amidst the wedding rumours, Vicky was spotted leaving soon-to-bride Katrina’s house yesterday.
Now, according to India Today, VicKat are expected to throw a grand reception party for their colleagues and industry friends in Mumbai. As the report suggests, the guest list will also include their friends from the media fraternity.
Reportedly, the rumoured couple chose to have a Mumbai reception so that those who are unable to make it to the wedding can be with the couple and join the celebrations at their reception.
An insider informed the portal- “Vicky and Katrina are in the thick of the wedding preparations. Everything from the guest list to the food menu is being planned to the smallest detail. They chose to have a Mumbai reception so that those who are unable to make it to the wedding can be with the couple in the Bollywood capital. Apart from their industry colleagues, the couple also has plans to invite their media friends.”
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that one of the senior members of Vicky’s family is apparently NOT happy with his wedding with Katrina. An insider has allegedly informed Bollywood Life that the senior member is not very keen on ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actress becoming a member of the Kaushal family and has even distanced themselves from the arrangements of the wedding.
As the report states, this might be the reason behind VicKat moving into a new apartment post-marriage so that they can keep their distance from the unhappy senior member.
“Actually, it’s Vicky’s parents (action director Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal) who want to invite everyone they know. Arrey, it is the elder son’s wedding and they would like to share the moment with their entire family,” a source informed the portal.
