Varun Dhawan recently wowed fans with his new, intense werewolf look from Bhediya movie.
The horror-comedy is slated for theatrical release on 25 November 2022. He had also announced the release of Jugg Jugg Jeeyo – in cinemas 24th June, 2022.
As per Pinkvilla’s latest report, Varun is also teaming up with renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani (Sanju, 3 Idiots fame) for one of his next films, which will be inspired by a true story.
“Varun has done multiple meetings with Rajkumar Hirani over the last few months and both have shown keen interest in the collaboration. It’s a typical slice of life film based on a true story written by Rajkumar Hirani himself and will go on floors next year.
The film will mark the directorial debut of one of Rajkumar Hirani’s chief assistant directors and everyone is very charged up about the project in question,” a source told Pinkvilla.
Some of Varun’s upcoming projects include Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis – a biopic on Indian Army officer Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was a Param Vir Chakra awardee. Varun also has the Sajid Nadiadwala actioner flick Sanki up his sleeve.
