The couple has tied the knot on December 9, 2021, at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
Yesterday (December 14), the newlyweds were spotted at the airport as they arrived back in Mumbai after their wedding.
According to reports, post their oh-so-dreamy wedding, Vicky-Katrina had supposedly taken off to an undisclosed destination on December 10 for their honeymoon.
While VicKat’s relationship was a hush-hush affair, we hear that Vicky reportedly had a tough time convincing the B-Town diva for marriage.
If this media report is to be believed, the ‘Sooryavanshi’ actress had apparently put forward only one pre-condition before saying ‘yes’ to Vicky’s marriage proposal, and trust us, the condition will make you go ‘aww’.
A close friend of Katrina allegedly revealed to the media, “It was all so sudden… their meeting, courtship, romance, marriage. Vicky Kaushal decided with two months of their relationship that she was the woman he wanted to spend his life with. Katrina was less sure. She was still hurting from the wounds of her previous break-up. She liked Vicky, but she needed time.”
“He pursued her until she said yes to marriage. But she put forward one precondition. He had to give her family, her mother and siblings, the same love and respect he gives her,” the friend added.
Now Katrina Kaif seems to be very happy to see that Vicky Kaushal gels with her siblings very well. The friend further revealed, “Before the wedding, they hadn’t even met Vicky Kaushal. Now, it’s like they’ve known him all their life.”
